About Japan Walk-Caster

Japan Walk-Caster is the brainchild of Patrick Lovell, a long time resident of Japan who saw an opportunity to introduce the history and culture of Japan to a wide audience by creating unique MP3 audio tours of Japan.

Patrick, who holds a degree in Japanese history, researches and writes many of the tours.

Japan Walk-Caster manages all its own tours. Narration, recording/mixing, is also a production of Japan Walk-Caster. Masaru Ito is Japan Walk-Caster’s audio guru and Toru Shioya is its production wizard. Together the team has over 75 years of combined experience in the print, audio, video, and production business in Japan.
