Testimonials

Our guided tour of Edo Castle with Patrick was one of the highlights of our trip to Tokyo. It added a whole new dimension to our visit and made us realize how much we missed out on during our last trip to Japan. Sightseeing becomes a completely different adventure when seen through Patrick's eyes. His detailed knowledge of place and history made the visit so much more interesting than if we had wandered through the site on our own, but even more, his stories about the Castle and it's people brought the history alive! I'm looking forward to our next trip to Japan and will definitely be scheduling another tour with Patrick to explore a differnt facet of this most facinating country!

The day we spent with Patrick at Edo Castle was a fun and educational experience. Through facts and interesting stories, Patrick brought the area to life. One could imagine the buildings which once stood and the people who completed their business and livelihood within the castle’s grounds. This tour was at the beginning of our trip to Japan, and I found myself seeing things with a new perspective using the experience at Edo in other cities and sites. Historical figures and buildings no longer visible conjured up in my mind adding new levels of appreciation to the history of the Japan. Thank you Patrick for helping me see the world through new eyes.
